Dear Paideia Family,

During the most recent Zoom information and Q&A session, Mr. Hamilton reminded us of the fellowship of believers in Acts 2:42-47

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.”

It is a testament to God working in the life of a community of believers when givers give, even in a time when we have to do community differently.

I am reminded of Ecclesiastes 3:5 “(there’s) a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing”.

Though we long for the time when we can “embrace” together in community, we can still carry one another’s burdens. One way to do this is by making a tax-deductible gift to the Paideia Academy Bridge Fund. The specific purpose of this fund is to assist our families struggling with job loss. These funds will “bridge” tuition expenses for families in need. The Paideia Academy Bridge Fund will only ever be used for people who have lost their jobs, not for any other purpose.

It is our desire for families to keep their children enrolled in Paideia should one of our own have this type of need. What a wonderful way to love your neighbor!

Will you join us in a “time of embracing” by making a tax deductible gift to our bridge fund?

By His Grace,
Doug Carr
