School Schedule
At Paideia Academy, we desire to be a tool in the hands of parents to assist them in their task of nurturing and instructing their children. To that end, our school employs a unique instructional format that engages parents early and also provides expert instruction in the upper grades. Our early grades operate on a university schedule that involves a combination of classroom and at-home instruction each week, with "parent-friendly" lesson plans and materials completely provided for the at-home days.
Grades 4th and up are on a 5-day schedule when Latin instruction and other curriculum requires more teacher/student interaction and lesson time. We believe the combination of parental involvement in the earlier years and greater classroom time in the upper grades, combined with our commitment to low student-teacher ratios throughout, provides the best possible environment for learning. The end result is a quality educational experience which serves as an extension of the Christian home and teaches the students to become lifetime learners, no matter their vocation in life.
