3rd Annual Run for the Classics
August 2008 - The Paideia Academy Third Annual "Run for the Classics" 5K Run will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008. The 5K run and 1-mile family fun walk will begin at 9 a.m. at the Pellissippi Community Trails on the main Pellissippi State campus.
Area businesses are invited to become event partners to help support Paideia Academy's generous need-based scholarship fund. Since the school's inception, we have been committed to making our exceptional academics and Christ-centered worldview education financially accessible to our community and have provided over $150,000 in scholarships to qualified families over the last four years. All our sponsors' generosity and dedication will be recognized on our t-shirts and other promotional materials. Please consider being an event partner and making a difference in the lives of many Knoxville families and children.
Registrations are now being accepted for the run/walk, which costs $20 for those who pre-register prior to September 19 and $25 thereafter. Participants will receive a t-shirt, and prizes will be awarded to the top three male and top three female runners. Prizes will also be given to the family, student, and class who raise the most donations for the school.
